was conferred
with the
FICCI
Socio
Economic
Development
Foundation
(SEDF)
CSR Award
- 2009
on May
3, 2010.
The GSK
project
was adjudged
the winner
in the
"Exemplary
Innovation
Promoting
CSR" category.
Shri Anand
Sharma,
Hon?ble
Union
Minister
for Commerce
and Industry,
Government
of India
presented
the award
to Mr.
Lamon
Rutten,
MD & CEO,
MCX at
a ceremony
held at
FICCI
House,
New Delhi.
The GSK
project
was independently
assessed
by Grant
Thornton
and Partners
in Change
and the
model
later
presented
the jury
chaired
by Dr
Abid Hussain,
former
ambassador
to the
US. Other
members
of the
jury included
Dr Girija
Vyas,
Chairperson,
National
Commission
for Women,
Ms Justice
Leila
Seth,
former
Chief
Justice,
Himachal
Pradesh
High Court
and Mark

in the
presence
of distinguished

| Within
just two
years
of its
inception,
Gramin
Suvidha
Kendra
(GSK)
model
is one
of the
recipients
of the
5th BSE
CSR Awards.
The function
held on
14th December
at the
BSE International
Convention
Hall and
was presided
over by
the MD
&
CEO of
Bombay
Stock
Exchange,
Mr. Rajnikant
Patel.
The contest
received
270 entries
and the
MCX GSK
model
was judged
as one
of the
most innovative
models
along
with other
winners
such as
Dr Reddy's
Foundation,
HDFC Bank,
YES Bank,
Mahindra
and Mahindra,
SKS Microfinance,
Designmate
and Reliance
Mutual
Fund.
